Product Description

Externally powered pulse converter of the Wireless M-BUS system. It is used to read the status of up to 20 consumption meters with RS-485 output and to send data in Wireless M-BUS format.

The WB169-R4-H module is intended for remote reading of electronic electronic consumption meters (electricity meters, gas meters, calorimeters), which are equipped with a data output for connection to the RS-485 bus with data coding according to IEC 62056, commonly used especially in power measurement electricity. The module has one bus input of the RS-485 type, to which up to two consumption meters of different types can be connected. The module detects current data from the connected consumption meters via the RS-485 bus interface at regular intervals and sends this data in the form of radio messages of the Wireless M-BUS protocol (hereinafter “information message”). Each information message contains the following types of data:

• consumption meter identification data
• values ​​of two consumption meter registers (eg “high tariff” and “low tariff”)
• module operating data (internal battery voltage, processor temperature, etc.)
