The WM868-REP-LP-H modules are used in WACO radio network installations, especially in the implementation of larger radio networks, where it is not possible to use the “repeater” function for signal retransmission (“repeating”), which is implemented by each WACO module. These are either installations of networks with a high number of battery-powered modules that cannot be used effectively for retransmission (because most of the operating time is in hibernation mode) or installations where the modules are at greater distances from each other, which can only be overcome by installing a repeater.

A WM868-REP-ACB-H + variant for outdoor use is also available.

The “Repeater” function can be switched on for any WACO bus module that is permanently powered by DC.
